5644 Envy inktjet printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a 5644 Envy inkjet printer with the following problem.
If I want to print photos of the format A6 (10x15) and also choose that format for paper type, the printer keeps asking for A4 paper. I also indicated that the photo paper is in the photo tray. Despite this, the printer invariably chooses the main tray.

Who knows the solution? Does the printer need to be wired to network? Doesn't it work with Wi-Fi?
Already tried all settings.....

Hi @Rik241,

If what you say is true - that is, the issue is related to the application/software and OS Big Sur - and you cannot change/adjust the settings to correct the result, then the following won't have any impact.

That said, the information is "good to know" and can help eliminate a possible checkpoint.

Check / Adjust the set up in the Advanced section of the EWS > Tray and Paper Management

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

>>>> Model Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

Follow the steps from the document here
