HP Envy 7855 All-In-One Printer

I accidentally knocked the ADF (automatic document feeder) off of my HP Envy 7855 Envy. How do I reattach it? I’ve tried to but I don’t see how to line it up. Any help is appreciated!

Hi @AWO100,

ADF is not a removable or replaceable part on this printer, I’d recommend you contact HP Phone Support in your region regarding service options for your printer.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I knocked off the cover of the ADF essentially the document feeder. The ADF is still attached to the lid. I’ll contact HP Phone Support. But no one in my area appears to work on inkjet printers. Thanks for your reply.

If you check the underside of the part you knocked off there is likely holes or "C" like tabs that will lock the two together. If it came off that easy it will likely go back on with a little english. See the red circles below
