HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw

Hello-

I have a M252dw that is about 6+ years old. In the past week, it started printing sheet skewed. It's not every single time but I'd say 3 out of 5. I've checked for jammed paper - no luck. I've tried a factory reset - no luck. I do print a lot of label paper. I tried to look for any sticky residue that might be getting the paper stuck in the feed - no luck. However, this is hard to see because I can't get in deep to the printer. I tried taking a few of the outer pieces off but not nervous I wouldn't be able to get it back together. This problem occurs in both Tray 1 and Tray 2. I don't seem to have the issue with regular paper stock, only label paper from what I can tell. Could this just be a result of an old printer or is there something else I can check?

If you print a lot of labels, then you are probably on the right track with the thought that there is a piece of label in the printer and you will have to take apart the printer to find it in most cases. Check for a service manual online.
