My printer is HP Envy Pro 6430 all in one

I am wanting to print 6x4 photos and 6x4 cards

I have tried to load the card into the paper tray and secure with the guides but because the card so small when I shut the tray the card must move as when I click print, the printer either says out of paper or it sounds as though its printing but eventually the paper jam light comes on and I have to retrieve the card from inside the printer. When I bought the cards and photo paper I checked if they could be used in my printer but I just assumed it would feed automatically. I have set the paper size to 6x4 etc.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Please check if this document helps you: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2387104-2310812-16

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Try a firmware update too: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.
