M255 DW Colorlaserjet Pro--precisely 16 days out of warranty; now jams, announcing paper tray 2 jam.  Have opened and mechanically cleared jam, changed paper, changed paper --and cannot clear jam indication.

It starts, prints one side, then locks up after it pulls paper back in to print the second side.

Ideas?

Also, weirdly, have entered the exact serial and model number number multiple times, from keyboarding to cut and paste, into the HP Warranty page and it never accepts it.

This is entirely odd.

the engine design is difficult when looking for jams or remnants. I suggest you remove all the toner cartridges and the paper tray and turn the printer on its side so you can see the feed area more easily.

Quite weirdly, and I do not know if it was your advice or it was unplugging the printer multiple times, it's working now.

Of course, this comes after buying a whole new M255DW because: I needed two side printing.

Oh, and HP, to add insult to injury, just started a 25% off sale for 72hrs on this exact model, which would have saved me $100.

I miss the old HP.

I am not enjoying this HP.

Thank for you help!
