M570dn Paper Jam in Tray 2 but no jam exists

Printer is a M570dn. Error is 'Paper Jam in Tray 2'. I have removed the tray and no paper jam exists. I have cleaned both the tray roller and the paper pickup roller. I have reset the paper size guides and filled the tray to the maximum level with paper. It prints fine from the side Tray 1 pull out door.

Do you hear the pickup roller rotate when the printing starts? If yes and it is not feeding the roller may be too worn and a new roller will likely fix your problem. If you hear no noise it is possible that a solenoid is stuck or the plastic shaft that drives the pickup roller is broken or dislodged.
