Printer jams in output tray when duplex printing. Don't know how to open the cabinet to check the paper path for duplex

The right side of the printer is the only door that you can access. Duplex issues are often caused by a worn or damaged fuser or some debris in the paper path. I have seen cases where small fingers on paper guides get broken and that can cause jamming issues.

Thx for your reply. I checked those things but found no problem. I read on another post about running card stock through to clear any debris that might be causing the jam. I did run card stock through the side paper feed and the drawer paper feed. I ran 3 sheets and printed duplex, 3 different times. No jams. Subsequently I ran better paper in both side and drawer trays on duplex and single pages. No jams. Finally I used thinner paper  doing the same tests. No jams. I never saw anything brought out with the exit of the card stock, but so far no jams. I'll report back here again after more time. I hope that this is the solution because the transfer kit has been replaced twice and it didn't solve it.

Using paper thinner than 20lb is going to be problematic for duplex. If you are printing with heavier color coverage (over 60 percent of page covered, I typically recommend 24lb bond to customers.
