This is a new printer that works well when printing single sided but jams with error code 13.08.11 when attempting to print duplex. We cleared the jam but the error occurs every time we try. I read that this could be caused by something getting dislodged during shipping and would need to be returned for warranty repair. Does anyone know if there is anything I can try before returning the unit to Costco and ordering a new one? Thx
Update: The printer started printing duplex without jamming without me opening it or trying to fix it. I suppose the dislodged component put itself back in place so I will keep it and hope the problem does not recur. Thanks for the responses.

Hello @RAC56 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Try this solution step here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_7095566-7103971-16?q=13.08.11
and watch the video too.
If this does not lead to a solution, please click on this link under point 6) and have the invoice or delivery bill and the serial number (never make it public) ready.
There is still a warranty, as I understand it.
Kind Regards

There is indeed a noted issue on this model for parts getting dislodged. The parts can be reseated but does require some basic disassembly. However I do not have those instructions right in front of me and the HP tech reference site is offline at the moment.
