My HP ENVY 7640 printer says it’s out of paper even thought it’s not

After years of effortless and smooth printing, my hp printer has convinced itself that the printer is out of power even when it’s not. I’ve tried various sizes of stacks of paper to put in, I’ve tried restarting the printer, and I’ve even tried cleaning the printer’s rollers and insides. My printer still thinks it has no paper. I run a small business when it is necessary that I print photos every day. I’m slowly losing customers by the day and thus am losing money. I need help immediately.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Out of Paper' error displays, printer does not pick paper and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
