The specification for this printer states the it will accept 250gsm paper, but my Kodak Premium 240gsm Photo Paper will not work on my printer.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - 'Paper Jam' Error
Make sure the media is correctly loaded - Loading Paper, Envelopes, Cards, and Photo Paper
The specifications also mention using HP Photo papers. Have you tried using HP photo paper and check if that helps?
Check the print settings on the app you are using to print.
