My HP Off. Jet 8610 claims I have a paper jam. I have done everyting but it will not reset. Ideas?

My HP Off. Jet 8610 says I have a paper jam. I have done everything to remove paper, shut down, restart but can not get the printer to operate. It is stuck. Any ideas of how to get it started again?

I understand that you are facing issues with Paper Jam.

During a print job, the printer stops feeding pages, and a Paper Jam error message displays on the printer control panel. This indicates that paper might be jammed inside the printer.

NOTE: Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, then this could be a hardware issue.
