My printer displays a message that there is a paper jam in the cartridge area.  I removed the cartridge and removed the paper page that was jammed.  I re-inserted the cartridge and the message that there is a paper jam in the cartridge area continues and I cannot turn it off.  as a result I cannot print anything on this printer.  Can you help me?

Have you power cycled the printer? I find sometimes errors do not clear if you have not restarted the printer. Not how it is supposed to work, but for some reason it does. If the error reappears immediately on power up, then likely a flag is stuck or sensor is dirty. Another issue with this series printers is the result of poor quality 3rd party cartridges that suffer from a failure of the drive shaft that turns the cartridge drum. That shaft is on the right side of the cartridge and the little ears tend to break off.
