HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 3-hole pre-punched A-size paper. If I print a document single-sided, OR if I copy a document single-sided, then the holes in the output page are on the left - which is correct. However, if I print a document 2-sided, OR if I copy a document 2-sided to 2-sided, then the holes in the output page are on the right, which isn't correct. HP Support decided the my printer was defective, so they sent me a new printer of the same model. It behaves as I would have predicted - it does exactly the same thing.

I used to own an HP PhotoSmart 7520 printer. It worked correctly under the conditions listed above. I believe that the PhotoSmart printers and the Office Jet printers were not designed by the same engineering departments, so the 'home models work correctly, but the 'office' models do not work correctly if the output is designated as 1-sided or 2-sided. I noticed that in HP forums, other users reported that their HP models work incorrectly. What will it take to get HP to fix the printer firmware so that 1-sided and 2-sided output work the same?
