Photosmart C4680
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Photosmart C4680. I haven't used it in quite a while (maybe a bit less than a year or so) I tried recently and it had a print cartridge error, so I replaced the ink and the problem was fixed, but now, whenever I try to print, either from my computer, copy, scan and print e.t.c. the paper gets taken in and starts coming out halfway and then nothing. The ink cartridge doesn't move, nothing. It doesn't print anything. I've tried updating the drivers, nothing. I've tried powering it off and on, nothing. I've searched Youtube and forums and nobody seems to have the same error as me. I assume it's because my printer is old. But, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

 

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
