My printer is allowing multiple pages to be pulled through at once which is a HUGE waste of paper.  I have followed all suggested fixes online and the issue persists.  I currently feed one piece of paper in at a time and often times the feeder drawer won't even open consistently.  Then I have to turn off the printer and turn it back one. Any help other than the worthless virtual agent is welcomed.

@hojo13, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

To assist you better, does this happen when you use the automatic document feeder?

Are you using letter size paper?

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Automatic document feeder does not pick paper or feeds too many sheets

If this happens while using the input tray, perform the steps from this document - An 'Out of Paper' error displays, printer does not pick paper

Check if the papers are loaded correctly in the input tray.

Fan the papers before loading. Refer to - Loading Paper, Envelopes, Cards

Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that prints fine. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
