Welcome to the HP Community.
No Operating System / version included in request - assuming "Mobile" print task.
The Basics
Load the paper into the main tray according to the instructions in the User Guide
Starting on Page 16
Right after loading the paper and closing the tray,
look for a message on the printer display panel -
Select to Modify (or retain) the paper size / paper type loaded in the tray.
Open the Application you are using to print the file -
Alternatively, Open HP Smart Mobile > Scan Images > Import an image already saved
Set up job and Print / Share / Save
Example - Retain / Modify / Check Paper Size (and Type) - Tray and Paper Management
Retain_Printing_Preferences_9
Open the Application you are using to print the file.
Example - HP Smart - Mobile - Main Menu
HP_Smart_Mobile_Main_Menu_12
Partial Example - HP Smart - Mobile - Simple Image Print
