Example: HP Officejet 8500 Wireless

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless.  The error message:  Carriage Jam will not clear even after opening the print-carriage access door, seeing there is no jam and then pressing  OK to continue.  It tries to reset and then reissues the same error message

@gergmualb, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print due to this false error message. Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in these documents - A 'Paper Jam' Message Displays for HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier (A909n) and 8500 Wireless (A909g) A... and 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays.

If the error persists, I'm afraid the printer hardware has gone bad. It could be the sensors. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
