HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw

Hello. I know this might be a silly thing to ask but I wanted to try anyway. There is an old HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw having issues with papers jams almost specifically when trying to print in legal size paper. It seems to print letter fine. I open the back door and notice there is a part that seems to have dropped off. I have tried to identify where the part or what it even is but I cant seem to find anything about it. It even has a number on it but I cant find anything online. I verify the printers diagrams online and I cant seem to match the part either. The part in question is labeled RC2-3334. Does anyone know where this part goes? 20250425_092533.jpg20250425_092542.jpg20250425_092631.jpg

The number on the part is a casting number and not a part number and hence the reason you do not find it in any of the documentation. It is likely part of a sub-assembly and not available to order outside of the sub-assembly.  I would check to make sure that the flag circled in picture below is in place. This is a picture of the paper tray cavity with the duplex tray dropped down.

Hello. Thank you for the explanation. My apologies if this follow-up seems incompetent on my part. I have the following images of the same paper tray cavity on the printer. I don't seem to identify anything wrong or missing in this area. However, when laying the printer on it's backside, I noticed the bottom of the printer has a sagging part. There is another similar printer in the office which doesn't have this issue, so I thought it might be of note. I thought it might have some relation to the part in question. Will I require further disassembly of the printer to pinpoint the parts location? The paper tray cavity with the duplex dropped down. The paper tray cavity with the duplex dropped down.20250428_101947.jpg20250428_102018.jpg20250428_102034.jpg20250428_102802.jpgThe bottom back end of the printer. The bottom back end of the printer.20250428_103018.jpg
