@xebo, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Use the Correct Paper Type
- Ensure the paper is compatible with the printer.
- Use only HP-recommended glossy or matte photo paper.
Check Paper Condition
- Do not use curled, wrinkled, or damaged paper.
- Fan the stack to prevent sheets from sticking together.
Load Paper Correctly
- Place photo paper in the main tray (not the ADF).
- Do not overfill the tray—adjust guides to fit snugly.
Inspect and Clean Rollers
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the paper path cover and check for obstructions.
- Use a lint-free cloth with water to clean the rollers.
Check for Paper Jams
- Remove any stuck paper gently from all accessible areas.
- Use both front and rear access points if needed.
Adjust Paper Settings
- On the Mac, go to Print Settings > Paper Type and select the correct paper.
- Set the correct print quality and paper thickness.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer, unplug for 60 seconds, then restart.
Update Printer Firmware
- Check HP Support website for the latest firmware updates.
