OfficeJet Pro 6968 all in one printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello All,

OfficeJet Pro 6968 jams the paper when feeding from the top tray to scan pages. This printer can feed 30 pages to scan from the top tray or fax pages from the top tray but it is jamming.

I tried factory defaults but no go. Can you help.

I doubt we can offer anything you have not already tried.

For those reading:

Printer Specifications for HP OfficeJet Pro 6900 Printers

Paper Handling

There are only a few factors that govern the operation:

Paper Size (For example - sizes supported as explained in the specs)

ADF condition - Scan Quality (For example, ADF clean or not)

Paper type / condition (For example, Paper too thick, too thin, curled, too dry, too damp, embossed, mixed surfaces on different pages, mixed paper sizes in the stack - anything that prevents "easy feeding")

If the paper size is supported,

If the ADF is in prime condition (clean),

then the culprit might be the paper.

All else equal,

If the number of pages stacked in the ADF is near the maximum,

Yes, should work.

If it does not work, try reducing the number of pages.

Yes, I know - not wanted - simply ignore if not possible.
