When trying to print a 6 x 4 photo from tray 2 the photo paper feeds through but it doesn’t print correctly. It jammed initially and now it feeds through and only leaves coloured lines (green) on the paper as if it was ink coming off the rollers. It did print about an inch of the picture once?  Printing A4 form tray 1 is fine.  Can anyone help?

Hi,

What exact paper is used?

is it suitable for inkjet printers? see its packaging for compatibility information.

What is the paper weight? the printer supports 220 to 300 GSM Photo Paper for inkjet printers.

Also, is it Glossy or Matte paper?

Open and close the paper tray and evaluate the paper settings for the tray, it will list the current tray configuration on the screen.

Click No or Edit to change the paper Size and Type settings, be sure that both match the used media in the tray.

Hi Shlomi

I am using HP glossy photo paper and the settings match the paper. It does feed through, sounds like it is printing but there are just this smudge lines in the paper?
