Out of paper message

OS Big Sur on Mac.  I installed HP Smart and able to print then out of no where, I am unable to print.  I receive Out of Paper message.  I reloaded several times;  cleaned rollers; shut down printer but I keep getting this message. I am able to print configuration and printer quality reports so I know the printer can feed paper.  Printer was working perfectly and now I'm frustrated.  Please advise.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Out of Paper' Displays and Printer Does Not Pick Paper and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
