I have a P1102w printer I need to mail. I cannot close the paper tray door because of the paper guard on the end. I know the guard somehow comes out or flips upside down so it rests in an indentation made for it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to move the guard. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to push the guard forward to the printer, when it reaches the end the tray can be closed.

There is no other way, it must go toward the printer.
