Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

P3015 laserjet is very noisy when printing

It's seems like it's trying to feed from tray 1 even when the tray is empty and has not been requested.

Tray 1 just keeps rising repeatedly up to the the feed roller.

After a number of failures it eventually goes to tray 2 and prints fine (till next time)

any ideas?  clutch stuck?

It's something related to tray1 clutch, might be stuck, missing a spring or dislodged.
