How to fix HP M4345 MFP tray 2 which prints 1 page and displays clearing paper path and error 13.01.00.  When you open and close the tray it prints another page  and displays the same error 13.01.00 and clearing paper path.

Does the fold down,  manual tray print correctly?  If you can print from the manual tray, the tray 2 problem could be a defective paper feed sensor flag or paper feed assembly.  After paper leaves tray, the paper feed roller feeds paper into printer.  If manual tray fails too, look at right side of registration assembly.  There is a felt noise reduction pad located on this side.  As pad wears out, gum residue will hold registration sensor flag.  If metal flag bar is all the way forward, it is stuck.  May need a small screwdriver.
