Hi @VanshArora,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a paper jam in your HP 416 printer. Paper jams can be frustrating, but I'll do my best to help you resolve the issue. Please follow the steps below to clear the paper jam.
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. This is important to avoid any potential injuries while handling the printer.
- Open the printer cover or access panel. It is usually located at the front or top of the printer, depending on the model.
- Carefully remove any loose or partially fed paper from the printer. Be cautious not to tear the paper while pulling it out.
- Locate the roller where the paper has wrapped around. Gently grasp the paper and try to remove it by pulling it straight out. If the paper is firmly stuck, avoid using excessive force, as it may damage the printer. Instead, try to find any release levers or buttons near the roller that can help you access the jammed paper.
- Once you have successfully removed the jammed paper, check for any remaining scraps or bits of paper inside the printer. These can cause future jams if not removed.
- Close the printer cover or access panel.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn on the printer.
- Test the printer by printing a test page or any document of your choice to ensure that it is functioning properly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
