Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

HP Officejet Pro 8740.  Several years old.  Error - Paper Jam.  I opened everything.  Cleared the single sheet jam.  Closed it up, Turned it off & waited, turned it off and it stills says Paper Jam.  I have done this multiple times to no avail.  Suggestions?

I understand that you are having issues with the paper jam.

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, this could be a hardware issue.
