HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

Here's a strange problem:  If I print just 2 pages of a double sided document, my printer works fine.  That is, printing on the front and back of a single piece of paper, there is no problem.  I can also print multiple copies of this two page double-sided document with no problem.  However, if I attempt to print a larger, multi-page document, double sided (e.g. 4 pages on the front and back of two sheets) the printer will jam when it prints the second page on the back of the first page.  The jam is caused by the print head grabbing the edge of the paper coming up to print the second page on the back of the first paper.

Everything appears clean and there are no pieces of paper stuck in the printer.

Help, it's driving me crazy.
