HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I am trying to print my business cards with my color laser.  It won't feed glossy or matte.  I've tried 52lb and 61lb.  It tries to take it, feeds in about 1/2", then stops and jams.  This is not heavy paper.  This $500 printer should have no trouble printing on photo paper.  I've tried putting in 1-2 sheets, 10 sheets, and 15 sheets.  But nothing works.  Can someone help?

@PattyKre, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

What size and type of photo paper are you using?

Kindly refer to the Paper handling section on the printer specifications page to check the supported papers by this printer.

Are you able to print on regular paper?

Make sure the media is properly loaded in the input tray as shown in - Loading Paper, Envelopes

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Check the print settings on the app you are using to print. You may refer to this guide - How to Print Photos (Mac)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
