HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g
Microsoft Windows 11

Scanning 4 pages duplex using Automatic Document Feeder.  1 page jammed and removed BUT ONE PAGE LOST!  It is somewhere within the Automatic Document Feeder and/or the duplexing mechanism.  How do I get inside the Automatic Document Feeder?

Have removed paper tray, duplexing unit in rear of printer, and opened lid of Automatic Document Feeder.

Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.

Hi@JGregL,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Paper Jam issues with the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus E-All-In-One Printer.

I have a few recommendations

  • Open the ADF cover, remove and reload the original, and then try again. OK' displays on the printer control panel.
  • Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. This link apply to both real and false paper jams. https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100779

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
