Depends on where the jam is. If opening all the access points does not give you the ability to remove the jam you may need to floss the paper path. Get some thing cardboard (like a cereal box) and cut a strip about one or two inches wide and the length of a sheet of paper, or find find a piece of thinner mylar (plastic) and push that through the paper path, in the normal direction of paper travel to push the jam out. Never push backwards (against the normal paper path) as this can cause damage to sensor flags. Repeat until you have flossed the entire width of the paper path or you get the piece out. If the paper skews when being fed this will tell you which side the jam is located on.
