Paper mismatch

What should I do when my printer isn’t reading the paper size correctly. It will only print 5x7.?.? It was working fine. Didn’t use it for a few weeks and now nothing but trouble

Welcome to the HP Community.

Change the paper in the printer.

Alert the printer to the paper you have loaded in the printer tray.

EWS - HP Smart for Mobile - iOS

Reminder: The EWS Tray and Paper settings must be updated before you open the object to be printed.

Open HP Smart (for mobile)

Open Settings wheel

Open Add / Set Up a Printer 

Scroll down, Click, Tray and Paper

As Available:  Check / Adjust settings in Advanced

Click Apply to save changes

Example - Retain / Modify / Check the paper in the printer
