Product: 3055A all in one model. B0N11B -- HP Deskjet 3055A

 Paper not feeding through. grinding sound. Cannot locate jam, as its not possible to fully open up.  Strips of paper feeds through one part but not where there seems to be a jam.  Any ideas, suggestions of what to do? Warranty has expired.

Removing jams can be challenging on some printers. What we recommend is getting a thin piece of cardboard (cereal box) or a piece of somewhat flexible mylar and pushing it through the printer in the direction of paper travel to dislodged jams that will not move from paper hitting them. A strip about 1-2 inches wide and about 10 inches long works well, you may need to feed through a couple of times to clear the entire width of the path but you don't want the strip too wide or it is difficult to push through the printer. Only push in the direction of normal paper travel or you risk damaging sensor flags.
