HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've been attempting to print photos using HP advanced photo paper and I continually get a Paper Pick Problem.  The printer won't pick up either the 6x4 or A4 glossy photo paper.  It has been loaded correctly in tray 1, within the level indicated for photo paper.  Nothing seems to resolve the issue.  Please help.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

I've not run into "Paper pick" problem with my 9135e --

Yes, one might suspect the paper or the loading sequence.

What is the application / software you are using?

Does the paper size / type in the setup match the paper size / type detected by the printer (EWS)?

Perhaps another check of the EWS Paper settings -

AND

If you have not done so, Restart the printer.

OR

You can also try the simpler version of the "Unplug and Reset" option:

  • While printer is switched ON
  • Unplug printer
  • Wait for a minute (or a bit more)
  • Plug in printer to standard wall outlet
  • If printer does not start on its own, press / release the power button
  • Wait for the printer to completely boot (start)

EWS > HP Document / How-to (InkJet Printers – Original Format)

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

OR

Example - (Alternate EWS format - select new OfficeJet Pro printers and at least a few LaserJet printers)

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Paper > Trays > click on Tray to configure

AND (in addition and as available)
