Hi

This has nothing to do with paper jams but there wasn't a really fitting category.

I would like to make my own bookmarks. Therefore, all I wanted to know was, what the heaviest / thickest / stiffest paper or card I can use with my printer (Ofiicejet 6700 premium).

Thanks

The specs of the printer will list the rated weights and you can find those with a quick internet search. However I would provide the following advice: Printers when new will often be able to tolerate paper weights beyond their ratings, but as they wear over time that ability will become unreliable. With specs in hand, contact a stationary vendor and ask for samples that fit those specs and test and choose one that performs best for you. Using paper outside spec will mean that down the road you will be back here posting that paper you used to be able to feed does not work anymore.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by giving kudos and marking my post as an accepted solution.
