I am having continual problem when trying to print 10 x 15 photos. The paper does not always pick up. the printer makes lots of noises as the try is moved around (sounds like) then the photo sheet is then found to be bunched up and i have to remove it either from inside the printer or from underneath. Sometimes it is expelled if I push print again but mostly I have to remove the crumpled photo paper. I have tried starting the process with the photo tray pushed right in, sometimes without pushing it in. I have also tried putting the photo paper to align with the 10 x 15 mark on the tray. Sometimes I get a successful print sometimes not and it seems to have no bearing on the starting position of the tray or the paper. I have checked that the photo tray is installed correctly, that nothing is stuck and moves smoothly.
Maybe I need a new printer. I would be grateful for any help please.

Ideas...
Printer might need maintenance.
For example,

An 'Out of Paper' error displays, printer does not pick paper
The settings might be other than what is needed for the current job.
Generally, incorrect settings will result in job failure -- perhaps the setup is close-enough that the job runs but not quite right.
In general, the printer might support your photo paper (we don't know anything about it, of course).
That said, the paper might not be ideally suited to the task for other reasons.
For example, the printer can generally use high-quality "not HP" paper -- it might might tolerate economy paper.

You are welcome.
Hopefully something will help clear the issue and the mystery, too.
If all else continues to fail, consider reloading the full driver printer software.
What? Although not the first "go to" solution, reinstalling the printer software might help if the issue is a tangle in the instructions.
Ask if you get that far and need help.
