HP OfficeJet 8702 All-in-One Printer

I am getting the error that my printer cartridge is jammed. I have done all of the recommended steps to fix the problem several times with no results.

Anyone know how to fix? My warranty is out of date.

TIA

Hi @SusanHorn,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet 8702 All-In-One Printer has a cartridge jam, you can follow these steps to try and resolve the issue.

  • Turn off the printer: This is the first step to avoid any damage to the printer.
  • Open the cartridge access door: Open the door by gently pulling it towards you.
  • Check for any obstructions: Look for any paper or debris that may be blocking the cartridges.
  • Remove the jammed cartridge: Gently remove the cartridge that is causing the jam.
  • Check the cartridge for any damage: Check to see if the cartridge has any visible damage or if the ink has leaked.
  • Reinstall the cartridge: Place the cartridge back into the correct slot and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
  • Close the cartridge access door: Gently close the door by pushing it back into place.
  • Turn on the printer: Turn on the printer and try printing a test page to ensure that the cartridge jam has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
