Printer Issues/Support Complaints

macOS 10.15 Catalina

My DeskJet 2655 has been printing blank pages multiple times, and the only solution is to change the ink, even if it says it is full on the smart app. This has been very frustrating and I have done EVERYTHING to fix it because I'm sick of constantly buying new ink all the time. However, I called HP support today (it took me ages just to find the number to call - whenever I went on the support website there were literally no options except troubleshooting) the agent was incredibly rude to me, kept telling me I was wrong, etc. Finally, I was offered 3 months of free ink and was transferred 3 times before I was able to get to someone to give me that. Once I told the person this, they said there were no notes made by the support worker that said I was offered any free ink, after I was told to sign up and put my payment into instant ink and the coupon would be applied upon ordering. The support worker lied about giving me free ink and now I have a printer that won't print! If anyone could help I would be very appreciative.
