Printer Issues

OfficeJet Pro 6830

Every time I print something, a message pops up saying there's a paper jam. I opened up the printer and there is no paper jam. I push 'ok' and then another message pops up saying that it could be the ink or to turn off the printer and restart it. We have changed the ink and we have turned off the printer, still nothing. I followed the steps on HP on unplugging the printer, taking the ink out and putting them back in, and still nothing. I've been trying to get in contact with HP support but I don't have a case number. I try to get a case number off HP by following the steps but that is no help.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Paper Jam Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.


If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
