HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer

My 4-year-old OfficeJet 250 Mobile printer stopped working, claiming that it has a paper jam. I went through all of the steps on the website to search for paper and to clean the printer, but those didn’t help. Any suggestions for what to try next, short of replacing it? It had started occasionally leaving a smudge of black ink on the printouts but otherwise worked well.

Hi @Maggie178,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with the paper jam.

Excellent description and a great diagnosis. It is greatly appreciated.

This looks like a hardware issue.

However, if you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, then the printer needs service.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

The printer reset after I unplugged it and took out to battery and waited several hours. Perhaps a full minute would have been enough, but the 10 seconds I had previously tried was not enough.
