Product: Office jet 8015Example: Pavilion 6530
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had apparently insuperable problems with my last HP printer , and scrapped it . Replaced with Office jet 8015 . Worked great up to last night . Started to print a colour doc , got half way , and print heads continued to operate to and fro , but paper stayed still , leaving a black stripe of very wet ink on paper and spilled ink on printer paper tray and inside of printer .  I have just spent over 4 fruitless hours trying to get some kind of sense from HP official site . Only 2 months old so is this a warranty job -- or what . Help please --- (krazy toad ? )

Sorry to trouble you kindly people , but I seem to have cured it myself .  It was constantly spooling different messages - printing- shutting down - etc. and getting nowhere . It wouldn't shut down from the power button , so I just pulled out the mains overnight , and re connected everything this aft.  Works OK again now -- Phew !
