Printer feeder rolls not activated to grab paper

Paper not being grabbed when trying to scan. Is this a hardware issue?

When try to copy? If the same then yes, it's hardware failure.

Hi, 

The feeder grabs paper to copy with no problem. 

When I moved, my wifi provider and router name changed. Nothing has worked properly since.

But now, in order to scan I use HP Smart. I place a page on the printer, use the HP app to scan, remove it,  place a new one and then hit scan again on the app. until all the pages are scanned. 

Im at a loss. I’m tempted to figure out how to reset the printer to original factory settings, delete the app and restart but I’m not sure how and am digging for the manual.

Copy confirms that you don't have a hardware failure.

Are there any suggestions on what the issue might be?
