@Saadadlan, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw is displaying an "Out of Paper" error repeatedly, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Paper Status:

  • Ensure the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray. Make sure the paper guides are adjusted to the correct size without being too tight.
  • Verify that the paper stack is flat and all corners are aligned.

Paper Quality:

  • Use only recommended paper types and sizes for the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw. Damaged, dirty, or curled paper can cause issues.
  • Avoid overloading the paper tray. Make sure the stack height does not exceed the maximum limit.

Inspect the Input Tray:

  • Remove any obstructions in the paper path, such as pieces of paper, debris, or foreign objects.
  • Ensure that there is no dust or moisture on the rollers and tray. Clean them if necessary.

Printer Reset:

  • Restarting the printer may sometimes provide a temporary fix for the problem.
  • Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, wait for a minute, reconnect it, and turn the printer back on.

Software and Firmware Updates:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your printer and install them. Updated firmware can fix bugs and improve printer performance.
  • Ensure you are using the latest printer software from 123.hp.com.

Hardware Check:

  • Inspect the rollers inside the printer for any wear and tear. Clean them with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
