HP OfficeJet 6962 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I really hope someone can help me. My husband purchased this printer a few years ago, HP Officejet 6968 all in one printer.  I only set it up no more then 4 months ago as I continued using my old printer until it died.

Since it was purchased so long ago, my warranty has expired. Even though I have just started using it.

Since we set it up, it has been nothing but a problem. First problem was, every now and again, it would not print as it states the printer is offline. Printer and computer are always both connected to wifi and online.

I recently changed the Magenta ink and now the printer will not work at all. The ink carriage will not move freely, it states I have a paper jam, when in fact there is no paper jam. I turn off the printer, turn it back on and a message comes up saying "Improper shutdown the printer was not turned off properly, to avoid damaging the printer always press the power button", The printer is always turned off correctly. When I hit the ok button, it then states it is doing printer Maintenance.

Another message is "There is a problem with the printer or print system, turn the printer off then on". the code is 0x6100004a. I have taken the cartridges out and put them back in. Unplugged the printer from the back and wall, left it unplugged for an hour and then connected the plugs hoping it would reboot, and nothing. I am at a loss right now.
