Hi @Les191873,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code OX6100004a on HP printers is often associated with a hardware issue. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem.

Reset the printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for paper jams:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.
  • Open the printer access door and carefully remove any stuck paper.

Inspect the ink cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to make sure they are securely in place.

Restart your computer and printer:

  • Sometimes, issues can be resolved by restarting both the computer and the printer.

Update firmware:

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model.

Check for loose or damaged parts:

  • Inspect the printer for any loose or damaged parts, particularly around the carriage and paper feed areas.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
