Hello. I’ve been having some issues with my printer for quite sometime now. I’ve tried unplugging it, cleaning etc. and the issue never resolves. I feel like it has to do with something in the printer internally. It does print when it wants too.. I notice I can get it to print better when I do just black and white. And it only seems to jam when I’m trying to print on normal sized printer paper. I never have issues printing using my photo paper tray. Another thing that I’m having issue with is that my lines always crooked no matter how many times I align the printer. If anybody out there could help me I would GREATLY appreciate it!!

Hi @ChristinaG19,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain on the printer.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
