HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw. It is displaying an error message stating there is a paper jam in the printer paper path. There is no paper in the printer whatsoever, and I've gone to great lengths to clean rollers, dust everything, and I've even tried unplugging it from the wall, waiting, and plugging it back in. No matter what steps I take, it still is giving me a paper jam error. Any ideas how to convince my printer there's nothing wrong with it?

Thanks!

Hi @SprinklePop

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are getting a paper jam error. I'd like to help!

Step 1: Look for jammed paper

Look at the error displayed on the control panel screen and use one of the following sections to find and clear any paper or media that might be stuck inside the printer.

Please follow the steps from the document here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
