Hi @RIQO,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're facing issues with your HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP after replacing the magenta cartridge, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow to address the problem.

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the magenta cartridge is installed correctly. Remove it and then reinsert it to make sure it is properly seated.

Update Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer has the latest firmware. Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model. Follow the instructions provided by HP to update the firmware.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and remove the magenta cartridge.
  • Wipe the electrical contacts on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth.
  • Also, clean the corresponding contacts inside the printer where the cartridge is installed.
  • Reinstall the magenta cartridge and turn on the printer.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Check for Firmware or Software Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer driver and software are up to date. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers and software for your printer.

Run Print Quality Diagnostic:

  • Most HP printers have a built-in diagnostic tool for print quality issues. Use the printer's control panel to find and run a print quality diagnostic.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look for any error messages on the printer's display or on your computer. These messages can provide more information about the issue.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 10 minutes.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
