HP DeskJet 3720 All-in-One Printer

So I bought some cardstock to use with my printer, for reference the cardstock is 5x7 and 300gsm thickness and for some reason when I go to print from the hp smart app, the printer just spits the cardstock out and doesn't print on it. However with regular paper it works fine, I looked up on Google the paper thickness for my printer it said 300gsm so it should work. Is there a setting I have to change or something I'm doing wrong?

Too heavy paper, 300gsm is way too much for that printer model. The maximum paper weight for that model is recommended to be 75gsm.
