My printer will not print documents correctly on a page. It prints them all at a diagonal with increasing/decreasing margins throughout the document. It does this for PDFs, .docs, Google Drive, photos, everything. It is becoming increasingly more frustrating to not be able to trust the printer to print professional looking documents. I have aligned it at least 5 times, cleaned the printheads, checked for paper jams, loaded one page at a time, and done a hard reset. This printer is less than a year old and has HP Instant Ink cartridges installed.

@graykblack, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • What happens when you make photocopies?
  • Have you tried printing test pages from the computer?
  • Does the print preview look good?
  • How is the printer connected to the computer?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello!

-The same thing happens when I make photocopies

-Yes, no success there

-Print preview looks totally fine and prints normally on other printers

-I have tried connecting via wifi and a USB cable with the same results either way.

Thank you for replying 🙂
